We are Mike and Sherrie Buckridge, owners of SUN AUTOMOTIVE. We have two shops located in Eugene and one is in Springfield. All three stores are general automotive repair shops with the campus location specializing in Volvo, Honda, Toyota and Subaru. They also service domestic vehicles. Our Springfield location has a speedometer calibration and repair niche and is the only speedometer specialty shop in the area. We have a reputation in both towns for fair and honest repairs. Other shops in town send many vehicles to us for diagnosing drivability problems as we have some of the best diagnosticians in the area.

Our philosophy of business is quite simple. We feel the golden rule never gets antiquated even if it might sound oversimplified. Our slogan on every advertisement, stationery, business card and signage says, “WHERE TRUST IS A TRADITION.”

The responsibility of our success rests mainly on God’s blessing, hard work and putting the customers’ needs first. We hire the finest people possible and try to exceed our customer’s expectations on a daily basis. Honesty, integrity and professionalism are continually stressed to our team and we have a reputation for that in our communities. All shops have kept up with the newest technology and have purchased the latest state of the art equipment available. The shop offices have been recently remodeled, which gives our customers a sense of our professionalism. We believe that belongings to our industry associations and taking every opportunity for training have been very crucial to our success.

We have been blessed with a group of excellent employees who have been with us long term. Several have been employees for 10 to 23 years. We believe if we do everything we can to make them successful, we too, in return will be successful. We want our techs, service advisors and lot attendants to be the highest paid, have the finest benefits and be the happiest employees in town.
